Lots of pictures this time!

Hello everybody! Its been another uneventful week but i have pictures this time so that makes up for it haha we had zone confrence this week( im just now realizing that quite a bit of things happend this week ) ( time and remembering things is weird on a mission i am in a 24/8 fever dream but its a fun one so it okay) but yeah zone confrence if was super awesome the talks were amazing my mission president is one of the best speakers i have ever heard in my life im super blessed to have that also our mission is moving to phase 3! Which means alot of covid restrictions are being lifted, so we can talk to anyone now and knock on any doors which is awesome but also super scary. One day this week we got a chance to do some service for a pretty cool family it was super fun but on our way there our gps tried to kill us because it wanted us to go on the freeway on our bikes haha but at the service we were just digging around there yard and they fed us after. They had a super smart baby, and they had some baby chicks we got to see it was cool, we are still having a pretty hard time finding people to teach but we are still working our hardest for it so hopefully things work out. At the end of the week we got to go to a thing called the why i belive devotional it was super spiritual and awesome it was a couple that had been mission presidents before they gave really good talks, but after them president eyre gave some closing remarks and it was one of the best talks i have ever heard and he was just winging it?! But my main take away from it was satan is always trying to label us as something we are not for one reason to distract us from who we really are a son or daugter of god and if we always remember that we will realize our worth, and no matter how far we fall there is on depth the savior cant save us from and if you realize those two things you can overcome anything. Love you all so much! hope everything is going well and goofy.

Its hot

 Hello everyone! Im already two weeks in time is really starting to fly its weird the days seem long but the weeks are so short which dosent make alot of sense. Its been a crazy its so hot here and im in a bike zone and its not even as hot as it will get so  we will see how that goes. This week we have just had a lot of lesson with members but not for lack of trying weve contacted so many people but no one wants to talk to us but i know because we are working as hard as we can things will work out phoenix is weird what type of area you are in can change really fast you can go from ghetto to farmlands to really nice houses in like a 20 min bike ride its pretty cool. The members here are pretty cool weve met with alot of young adult memeber couples and then a bunch of huge familes which is nice because it reminds me of home. Its crazy to see how i think is already changing missions are really awesome but really hard but its worth it love you guys lots also sorry for the lack of pictures i just never think to take them ill promise to try and remember this week and send extra.

Ps. Why are there so many random dead birds in phoenix?

1st week in the field.....plus help needed please!!

 So some ups and downs his first week in the field.  There was an interesting incident with a rice maker.  He is regretting not learning to cook before he left.  So please, everyone send him easy meal ideas, recipe ideas with very simple, easy to follow instructions.  I am including his email address, as well as mailing address if you need to send a letter instead.  We appreciate any help with ideas!

Hello everyone! Tomorrow will be my one week marker on the feild. Its been pretty crazy out here. My first area in deer valley its north phoenix in the city you see some pretty interesting characters up here my comps name is elder hoth he is actully one of the coolest people i have ever met hes an awsome trainer and a funny guy we get along pretty well. When people said phoenix was gunna be hot i very much so belived them BUt its way hotter than i expected i feel like im in an oven and on top of that i have to wear my dress cloths and im in a biking area  our church building is 4 miles away so a 4 mile bike ride in 95 degrees with a suit and i was cooked pretty good. My appartments are pretty ghetto but i like it here my roomates are also super awesome one of them Elder Orduno has beem teaching me how to play guitar. Also im noticing i have no idea how to cook or buy food for myself so if you have any suggestions let me know love you guys lots

He is off to Arizona!

Well today was the day.  We saw him off at the airport this morning, as he left to serve the people of Arizona for 2 years.  We will miss him so much, but are so proud of him!  We did get an email from his President Eyre and his wife letting us know he arrived safely with picture proof, as you can see at the bottom.  Part of our hearts are in Arizona now!

 

Final MTC Letter!!

 Hello Everyone! It is my final week of mtc. I leave for Arizona on tuesday which is 3 days which is crazy to me. This last week of mtc has been really good. We have been learning lots about teaching skills. I've been getting along with my district really well. I wish there were all going to Arizona haha, But my mission is huge there are so many missionaries it's crazy there are already like 230 out and in my group there are about 20 new ones coming. I'm super excited to get going on my mission and equally nervous  I'm going to miss all of you but my mission president said it will be the fastest two years of my life.  hope everyone is doing well 

As you know he leaves on Tuesday to Arizona.  He hasn't packed yet.  So wish him luck.  He is excited.  We are all excited for him.  You can ask any questions on this blog and we will get you the answers the best we can!
