9 months out and now a District Leader!!

Bryan will tell you about it, but he has moved up north to a small town called Cottonwood.  He is excited he might see some snow.  He is excited to be a District Leader.  This is the start of what missionaries call their "Blackout year", I guess because it is the full year they are away from home.  It has been 9 months now and we miss him every day!

Hello everyone this was a pretty crazy week and I don't have a lot of time this week to tell you haha sorry. I'll fill in the details next time. So we had an awesome week full of awesome missionary work. A highlight is for family home evening for the young adults ward we had a nerf war! Haha we were there with our recent convert and we are talking about helping get on a mission. He wants to go, and I'm so excited for him. Last night at 3:45am we dropped Elder Belka off to be taken to the airport and then he's heading off to Bulgaria. It was super sad to see him go but I'm so excited for him. We had our transfer calls last night, and I'm getting transferred! I've been here for a long time, so I'm sad to go, but I'm also excited I'm going up north to a place called cottonwood, and I'm so excited! There's snow and trees and green things and mountains so it will feel a little bit like home. I leave tomorrow morning I'm going to be joining Elder Hemingway, and I'm going to lead the district I'm very excited, and look forward to making new relationships, and sharing the gospel up there. Hope you all had a really good week one thing i wanted to share this week is a byu devotional that i listened too, about how there is always hope. No matter what, because Jesus Christ already overcame the effects of the fall. Our souls are eternal, and we can know this for ourselves if we read the book of Mormon. There are so many questions out there, but if we come to know the book of Mormon is true in our minds and our hearts than we need not worry, because that means it's all True joseph smith really was a prophet of God, and the chruch of Jesus Christ was really restored to the earth.

Ps. Sorry no pictures this week now that Elder belka is gone I need to step it up.

Hello everyone! Happy New Years ðŸ¥³ its crazy that it's a new year. Time has been flying by all this last year. And it continues to fly by even just these last couple day.

Incidentally we had New years Eve, and New years day this past week. On New years day we basically had a pday schedule, but all the stores were closed so today we have time to shop, but pday ends at 2. Currently we are getting the oil changed in our car so I am sitinf In a pepboys waiting room haha. New years Eve we worked until 3. We had a member dinner though after, and it was awesome. Somehow they found out it was my birthday a little ago so they got me a cake and candles it was very nice of them. Afterwards we just played games with our roommates. With new years brings new church times, since we cover 2 wards the ysa didn't change, but our family ward went to 8am. Which isn't too bad because we wake up at 6:30am everyday either way, but in a trio it's a bit of a rush to get ready on Time, but church was awesome I always love testimony meeting. I also went on an exchange this week with Elder Norton it was a pretty basic day, but it was a lot of fun! We are going into the last week of this transfer, and I'm excited. I've been in this area for 5 months now which is a while, but I love this area, and I'd be very sad to leave it, but most importantly I want to go were the lord need me. We were able to extend 2 more baptismal invitations this week! And they were both accepted. Zaniya and Chris I'm so excited for them and to continue working with all of our friends with baptismal dates. All of our friends with dates are looking good to achieve their date!
Hope you all have a great week and have High hopes and goals heading into this new year. Let me know if I can do anything for you

Hello everyone merry Christmas! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and continue to with new years. It was a wired Christmas being away from home, but it was a wonderful one In a life time experience to have my focus so heavily on christ during Christmas time.

First I just wanted to say thank you all so much for all you do I'm thankful for everything.
Just an overview of my Christmas week it was pretty fun. Lots of member visits with members it was fantastic. One message we shared with them I would like to ask you all. "How have you felt God's love" and I would just invite you all to ponder on that.
Our recent concerts in our ysa ward got us gifts. It was Justin and Calgary, and it was so awesome. They are so cool.
We also had some awesome opportunities this week to extend Baptismal invitations! We have 4 people that have accepted a date for Baptism. 3 are part of the lopez family and they are awesome and excited to work twords it as a family, and carlos which is super awesome because he is someone we founds just tracking. He also has 2 boys but there weren't with him when we had the last lesson. Prayers for them would be appreciated.
We also had a very fun time as a district we got to play lots of games with each other and even to a park and play sorry which was awesome.
Thank you all so much for all you do I hope you have a great week!
